First of all, I have to give all credit to professional trader Tom Hougaard. Without Tom as a teacher, I probably would never have managed to become a Trader myself.
Tom is not my teacher, he is everyone's teacher, i.e. you can follow him on his Telegram channel or his website, which I would recommend.
So what can I contribute? Well, first of all, my trading is more based on automation using MT4, i.e. I have built up a lot of experience in developing trading strategies that are purely mechanical. And with experience also comes learning that even the best tools for backtesting will never be accurate enough, only live results teach you the last tricks to be able to develop profitable strategies.
Be careful out there, there is 95% fraud in anyone who offers "help" to new traders. If it sounds too good, or too easy, then it's definitely a scam.
At the time of writing I am trading a breakout strategy with my MT4 Algorithm. I use manual trading to train myself, as well as to follow Tom Hougaard, who currently uses a strategy based on the decisionbar 15-20 minutes into the opening.
It can be very difficult to choose a good broker, as there are many factors that must be taken into account. And many factors that are not visible.
